Welcome to the 2021-2022 school year!

Welcome to all Nova Lower School Latin students and families!  This blog is a great resource for questions and materials related to Latin class. You can also email me at any time at hreynolds@novaclassical.org.

If you need links to practice games and activities, vocabulary flashcard sites, etc., see the links on the left side.  I will also post extra copies of study guides/grammar notes for 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders as well.

Bookmark this blog site and check for updates when we start a new chapter. I’ll post quiz and test dates and have extra study materials available. Searching posts by grade level is usually easiest, or just scroll down to the latest post for your student’s grade level for extra information.

I look forward to the new school year and getting to know your students!

All the chants for grades 3-5!

Here are some handy chant videos that you can use to challenge your scholar anytime you need a 30-second (or longer!) opportunity for review and practice.

This is great over the summer!  See how many chants from this list that they already know.  Your scholar has had printed versions of all the chants that they have learned in their notes or study guides, so if they’ve kept those, that would be helpful too.

It’s very important that they have these memorized as we learn and review them each year!

Here are the chants they should now know!
