Welcome back! (virtually)

While I’m sad that I won’t be able to teach everyone in person to start out this school year, I’m hopeful that I will at some point sooner rather than later.  For now, we will have a great start to the year doing Latin by distance.  It may not be ideal, but it will be great, and we’ll still learn some Latin!

This blog is typically full of updates and resources that you’d use at home while we are doing school work at school.  For this year, you can just bookmark this site to keep as a resource for any extra enrichment activities, extra practice with chanting, vocabulary activities online, etc.

Much of the class description information provided in the menu on the left is specific to how my classes work in person, so while we’re in a distance learning mode, there may be some differences.  However, the curriculum remains the same while we may not cover as much during distance learning. You might want to have a look at the grade level descriptions to get an idea of what the scholars typically learn in each grade level of Latin.

Please make use as you need of the audio links, vocabulary practice, games, etc.  All of the study guides and assignments for distance learning will be provided through the Latin Google classroom sites, but you can always check this blog for extra copies or extra notes.
